Minimum
Catering Order
Corporate Gourmet is available to take catering orders from
a minimum of 10 guests upwards. We have no restrictions on
order volume over this amount and are happy to accommodate
for all events, large or small!
Guest Guarantees
An
estimate of the number of guests anticipated to attend your
event must be provided at the time of your catering inquiry.
A final guarantee of attendance is due, in writing, 5 business
days prior to your function. Head count increases to this
final guarantee are honored when possible, although may incur
additional charges.
5 days prior to your function, the guest attendance number
may not be reduced! If a guaranteed head count is not received
by the due date, the estimated guest head count becomes the
“final guarantee” and is the basis for calculating
your bill, regardless of low turnout or last minute cancellations.
Please note: Should the number of guests served at your event
exceed the “final guarantee”, billing will be
based on the actual number of guests served.
Food Left from Catered Events
When making the necessary culinary preparations for your event,
our chef’s thoroughly plan out food portion allocation
based on a per head basis to ensure that there is minimal
food wastage leftover on the day! Corporate Gourmet takes
the responsibility of safe food handling seriously to ensure
that none of our guests are susceptible to food borne illnesses
and therefore food ordered but not consumed at any catered
function arranged through Corporate Gourmet may not be removed
from the function site. This policy is standard in the catering
industry and is enforced for your own health & safety!
On those rare occasions however when the leftover food is
of a substantial quantity, Corporate Gourmet will endeavor
to donate those leftovers to Food Bank Japan in a safe &
hygienic manner.
Delivery Charges
All catered events within the Minato-ku, Meguro-ku Chiyoda-ku,
Chuo-ku, & Shibuya-ku areas incur a standard set-up and
delivery fee unless stipulated as “delivery charges
inclusive”. This charge includes delivery and set-up
of tablecloths, platters, napkins and other buffet equipment
required on the day.
- For delivery outside the mentioned areas please inquire
about our delivery schedule & rates.
- Delivery Charges vary according to set-up and platter style:
- Disposable Silver Platters ¥3,000 (If serving utensils
are required the takubin charges for return of serving utensils
will be borne by the client)
- Disposable Platters & Silver Chaffing Dishes ¥5,000
- White China & Stainless Steel Patters ¥10,000
- Specialized Presentation (Price is variable in accordance
with your event requirements)
- Boxed (O-bento style) Inclusive
- Additional delivery & pick-up fee will be charged when
rental equipment is utilized.
- All and any parking charges incurred during your event will
also be charged accordingly.
Cancellation Charges
- All event cancellations should be communicated to one of
the Corporate Gourmet Catering Managers as soon as possible.
- Should you need to cancel a function, please note:
- Events canceled within 7 calendar days
prior to the event date are subject to a 20% charge
of total costs (food, beverage, equipment & labor)
- Events canceled within 3 calendar days
prior to the event date are subject to a 50%
charge of total costs (food, beverage, equipment & labor)
- Cancellations after this time will be billed at 100%
of total costs (food, beverage, equipment & labor)
Payment Policy
- Cash on Delivery is our preferred method of payment.
- For your convenience, Corporate Gourmet can also arrange
Bank Transfer payment provisions for selected customers upon
application.
- Bank transfer payments must be completed within 1 week of
the event date (unless negotiated prior)
- Bank Transfer Fees shall be born by the customer.
- A 50% Deposit will be required for events over 50 guests
All stated prices are subject to 5% additional sales tax
